If you live anywhere in/near the North, you know winter comes for you faster in India than it does for the other regions. It's better to be prepared before you freeze on the first day of your trip. Isn't it?
Here are the 7 essentials!
1. Warm warm warm clothes
If you're thinking that oh let me keep one or two shorts just to wear inside maybe, please don't. Warm clothes are an essential so you don't fall sick. And layering is anyway such a fashion statement during winters, why wouldn't you want to do it?
2. A chapstick
Unless you don't want your lips to look like you applied fevicol on it, please add a chapstick and other skincare products to keep your skin hydrated.
3. Thin yet warm fabric gloves
Because you do want to use your phone without freezing your hand right?
4. Snacks
You need to have snacks that keep the body warm, like chick peas, almonds and peanuts and a bottle of brandy. And no we're not suggesting a daru+chakna party, but like unless you want to.
5. Wipes
If you're someone who wears glasses, this is a must for you because of how foggy your glasses will get. Others might carry this for their phone and face in general
6. A power Bank
Usually around the hills, the chances of getting good network are pretty slim, so it's ideal to keep an extra set of charged power Bank whenever you leave your room.
7. Medicines
Not everyone's body can adapt to the cold in the same manner. While it might be okay for some people, a lot of people can face minor cold, nausea and body pain for which keeping medicines is advisable.
Not in the list, but please don't forget to keep your camera for all the memories you're going to make. And while you're visiting the north, might as well make a pit stop at Mingout events in Gurgaon.
